I’m Steve Killeen, founder of the Fractional Sales Engine.

For over 20 years, I’ve built and led enterprise sales teams across SaaS, technology, and services. I’ve closed complex multi-million-pound deals, navigated acquisitions, and helped scale businesses where credibility and trust decide everything.

Along the way, I saw a recurring pattern:

Great products. Great teams. But sales was chaotic, inconsistent, and too dependent on the founder or a few individuals.

That experience shaped my conviction: scaling sales shouldn’t depend on heroics. It should run as a system.
